Value for money: 2.5/5
For two people with a car and tent driving past Cefalu, Sicily, in the middle of nowhere, this place is good to use as a base for one night though, on your way to or from the Aeolian Islands.  It costs around $30 AU per night with no real market or restaurant, so you’d better be self sufficient. We did find a great supermarket around the corner though, but was a little too far to walk to.

Cleanliness: 2/5
Below average for a campsite. You also better make sure you have your own bog-roll.

Facilities: 1.5/5
I was lucky to score cold beer and they have snacks from the reception. They say there’s no wireless internet, but if you bug the living hell out of them, they’ll give you the password. It only works right next to reception though. Not really much else there to do other than sleep and then move on.

Location: 1/5
Nothing really happening. Just a sleeping point to break up the driving.

Staff: 2/5
Didn’t go out of their way to be helpful, but were friendly enough.
